Here at Fiorello’s we believe that the highest quality gelato/ice cream is ultimately achieved through it’s quality & quantity of ingredients. As such, we purposefully restrict the amount of whipped air that goes into our products, giving our customers not only quality but more quantity

Anthony (Tony) Bonviso’s mission has always been to provide the finest & creamiest Italian crafted gelato in San Francisco Bay Area. Although, Tony innovates by creating original flavors, he has been able to preserve this unique authenticity. This is why each of our artisanal products are passionately handcrafted in Marin since 1982

Our story

37 years ago Anthony (Tony) Bonviso founded Fiorello’s Artisan gelato after a long upstream journey of research and experiments, all from scratch and with a steadfast commitment to provide the finest gelato/ice cream ever created.

Over the years, Tony continues to perform his skills as a frozen desserts architect alongside culinary professionals by finding that balance between innovation and authencity.

After reaching his objective, he made the decision to launch into the ice cream retail market in order to show the world how extraordinary an authentic Italian crafted gelato/ice cream can taste.

To this day, Tony’s uncompromising approach on innovation and drive to create new products and educate folks on the value of artisanal crafted product remains relentless. Whereas industrials substitue quality for economy.

I would give this place 20 stars if I could.
The world’s best gelato. I drive up from LA just to taste their malt gelato.  
I used to work as a waitress in a restaurant in Danville where they served Fiorello’s malt gelato.  I was in love the first time I tasted it. It is too bad they do not distribute state/nation wide.

We had Fiorello’s serve their gelato at our wedding and cannot say enough great things about them! (…) Everyone can’t stop talking about how great every single flavor was and how much fun it was to have at a wedding. Astoundingly good gelato, far above anything else in the grocery aisle. Love the high density consistency and fresh & exquisite flavor! It does cost 2x haagan dazs but its totally worth it. Tahitian vanilla is sooo good. We get ours at lunardi’s
